A VERY GOOD, CENTRAL LOCATION
Very close to rue du Temple and rue des Archives, and :
- not far from Hotel deVille (Paris City Hall), rue des Francs Bourgeois and famous Place des Vosges even Notre Dame de Paris is within walking distance
- not far from rue Charlot, rue de Bretagne : in one of the trendiest areas in Paris : many creators around (fashion designers, etc..), the most experienced French movie director lives just 2 blocks away, etc..., near rue de Bretagne's markets (Enfants Rouges) and food shops, and rue de Poitou and its art galleries, minutes away, by foot, from Picasso Museum, the wonderful Place des Vosges, and the colorful Centre Georges Pompidou.
- not far from bus line 96, which goes to many nice places in Paris (Place des Vosges, St Paul area, Hotel de Ville (central City Hall), Notre-Dame, Quartier Latin, Montparnasse, also now trendy and popular Oberkampf and Menilmontant areas.
Next metro stops are Hotel de Ville, and Rambuteau, near Centre Pompidou.
When looking at the plates, near streets corners, you will read, however on street maps you will probably find , which is an old name, however still in use at least on street maps, for the very same street.
THE APARTMENT
Spacious furnished 1 bedroom flat, vey well equipped : 2 TV (one with large flat screen in the bedroom), Wifi DSL High speed access to Internet for either PC or Mac, et...
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with linen and pillows.
The living room has a sofa and arm chair, rather contemporary furniture and other cinema related decor items. Numerous books are gathered on the shelves, with the stereo equipment and a few music CDs. Large TV with many DVDs, cable TV service.
Also available : HP Laserjet laser printer
The tiled bathroom includes a bathtub with a shower, a wash basin with a mirror, a toilet.
Bath towels are supplied.
The kitchen offers a refrigerator+freezer, a washing machine, an oven, 3 gas burners, 1 electrical burner, a microwave, a kettle, a coffe machine, etc… and a fairly complete set of kitchenware and tableware.

2007 SHORT TERM all-in rates
They cover the rent (for peaceful/quiet use of the apartment), the rental fee, the final cleaning fee, utilities, electricity up to 2 euros per night, and :
- DSL high speed access to Internet
- use of the telephone with a prepaid card without any communication charging the owner's telephone account ; if that would happen the cost would be deducted from the refundable safety deposit
Linen and towels are provided and belong to the flat, cleaning products (soap, washing tablets or powder, dish-washing liquid, etc..) and some other basic consumables (oil, salt, sugar, etc..) are provided in limited quantities for renter's convenience. Upon renter's departure similar quantities should be ready for use by the next renter, at departing renter's expense.
- 7 nights : 800 €
- 14 nights 1,150 € :
- 21 nights : 1,500 €
- 28 nights : 1,850 €
In each case :
- a refundable safety deposit of 1,200€ or 1,600 USD, payable upon arrival either in cash or as a US cashier's check, will be required to cover possible damage in the flat, or the loss of a key. Numerous references can confirm, if you wish, that such a deposit is very properly handled and in almost all cases, refunded in full upon departure, as there is generally no damage in the flat. However please understand that in case a key would be lost, the cost of properly replacing the key could exceed 100 euros, the cost of replacing the lock could exceed 600 euros
- a non refundable firm reservation down-payment will be required before arrival, unless the decison to rent and the agreement of the landlady would be a last minute deal.
- electricity is included up to a reasonable usage (average 10 euros per week)
- telephone can be used with prepaid cards for outgoing calls.
